Posted by NewsMan in : News , add a commentWell it’s now official Tenerife Scuba has been around for five years. This certainly makes one of the more established dive centers here in Tenerife, certainly one of the most established under the same management.

Brainiac Spain Dives with Stingrays Las Galletas November 16, 2007

Some of the opening shots are from Tabiba on the East coast all the boat shots are from Los Chucos here in Las Galletas. Slight hype with the Steve Erwin comments but some great underwater video shots. With Tenerife Scuba acting as hosts for the filming. The presenter for this was only Open Water qualified and coming face to face with a large Atlantic Ray well it might be in spanish but I think you’ll get the drift.

Brainiac visits Las Galletas Tenerife November 4, 2007

In my rush to go on holiday last week I forgot to post this before I left. I had never heard of this program until a customer said where did you get that te-shirt?
Oh we had the Brainiac team from Channel four Spain filming her last week. What they wanted to do was a tribute, I suppose, to Steve Erwin. So we played host to the film crew and went diving on the Rays. This was show on Channel Quatro Spain las night and my DVD recorder didn’t work aaaaagggghhh! I hope to post a couple of shots of it in the next week or so.

Posted by Sally Harris in : New Member of TenerifeScuba , add a commentA big thank you to Sarah and Chris for putting up with me and my duaghter Jenny, we had a great 2 weeks learning to dive and then diving in the sea with other divers, it was brilliant. Since coming home we have both said it was the most enjoyable time we have had for ages, so much so we have even joined a club in old blighty – not too sure whether I will enjoy diving in British waters though – it might be a bit cold.
Any way Chris and Sarah I hope you had a nice week away, you both deserved it, especially you Sarah in your condition!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you again in May when we venture to Tenerife again.
